Across six weekends it introduces the Tree of Life and a selection of qabalistic methods with emphasis on the linkages with the tarot. Derek's course is probably the most comprehensive introduction available in Denmark (homepage).* Ulrik Golodnoff is primarily working with the tarot. He gave a presentation at the Tarot Festival on "Kabbalistic Tarot". He is working on a translation of Z'ev Ben Shimon Halevi's "The way of the Kabbalah", he tells us at his website. Ulrik has written a book on qabalistic tarot in Danish together with Søren Rasmussen (see below).* Hanne Tofte is running a series of courses titled "Tarot through Tree of Life", introducing the qabalistic background to tarot as a gateway to basic tarot experience. Advanced courses include pathworking. Hanne is the chairman of Tarotfestivalen.* Søren Rasmussen works with the qabalah in relation to the tarot and healing. He was one of the driving forces behind the Tarot Festival and occasionally offers introductory qabalah courses (website). His book on qabalistic tarot written together with Ulrik Golodnoff is highly recommended.* Bjarne Wagner Augustenborg is a teacher of qabalah in Northern Jutland. He may be contacted through his website. His courses in qabalah are also advertised through the website of Lemuel Books.* B. Kim Pedersen cooperates with Bjarme Wagner Augustenborg on qabalah courses. According to his website, his approach towards qabalah is based on esoteric astrology and theosophy. Melise Lo Kongelys, tarot reader and therapist who arranges tarot courses based on the qabalah. She has published an introduction to the Tree of Life. It's in Danish: "Livets Træ, gammel visdom i den ny tid" ("The Tree of Life, ancient wisdom for the New Age") (website / phone:86356970).* Kirsten Minami of the Theosophical Society Scandinavia organizes a qabalah group in Gladsaxe. The group carries out meditations etc. related to the various Sephiroth and Paths (mail).* Leif Haurum recently had a Danish translation published of Westcott's "Introduction to the Study of the Kaballah" ("En introduktion til studiet af Kabbalaen", Bogan 2000). The front page of the book shows Leif's 3-D design of a Tree of Life in solid wood. Leif has also translated Mathers' "The Kabbalah Unveiled" (341 pages including parts of the Zohar!) for which he is now seeking a publisher (mail).* Isabel Berg has an ongoing work with the qabalah, e.g. through Danmarks Frie og Uafhængige Murere (DFUM) and its 'ritus hauniensis' (the Copenhagen rite) of 1929. Alis Fjordvang Ballin arranges occasional courses in angelic magic in a qabalistic four-element framework, always with a tremendous amount of energy radiating through the building. Unfortunately Alis does not offer courses at the moment.* Gert Rønsby, chairman of the Society of Psychic Research (Selskabet for Psykisk Forskning) and former chairman of the Danish Sigmund Freud Society, is giving occasional lectures on the connections between the psycho-analytical and the Jewish-Kabalist tradition (mail).* Erwin Neutzsky-Wulff, author of two outstanding volumes on magic and occultism. (Okkultisme, 1985 og "Magi", 1986, Borgen). This guy is a lot more than a qabalist, don't hesitate to visit his website.* Judith Winther, professor in Hebrew at Copenhagen University, has written a Danish introduction to the Jewish Kabbalah ("Kabbalah, en rejse i jødisk mystik", Bogan 1986), and a comprehensive overview of Jewish religious thinking (Børge Rod-Salomonsen og Judith Winther: "Jødedommen - Religiøse tekster gennem 2000. år". Bind 1 - "Skriften og den rabbinske tradition". Bind 2 - "Den religiøst-filosofiske, mystiske og hasidiske tradition" (København, Spektrum, 2001) (mail).* Heidi Laura, Ph.D. from Copenhagen University, has done in-depth studies of the early Jewish kabbalists.
